LIFT TICKETS

Book lift tickets for Big Sky Resort for the winter 2024-25 season now for the best prices. Tickets include access to 39 chairlifts and the Lone Peak Tram. Purchase multi-day tickets to get more savings.

All lift tickets must be loaded onto a reusable RFID Sky Card. Pick up your Sky Cards up at  Sky Card Express Boxes or Basecamp, Mountain Services, or the Madison Base ticket office.

Beginner & 1 pm half-day tickets - available at ticket windows ONLY

Beginner Tickets include access to the magic carpets at Mountain Village and Madison Base, plus the Explorer lift in Mountain Village and Derringer lift in Madison Base. You cannot access one lift from the other as they are in two different base areas.

1 pm Half-Day Ticket available for lift access from 1 pm - 4 pm. Half-day tickets are available for same-day purchase ONLY starting at 12:30 pm. 

LONE PEAK TRAM

At Big Sky Resort, the Lone Peak Tram offers a unique and versatile experience, whether you're an avid skier or simply looking to take in the breathtaking scenery. Here’s what you need to know:

For Skiing:

• Access to Expert Terrain: The Lone Peak Tram takes you to the summit of Lone Mountain at 11,166 feet, providing access to some of the most challenging and exhilarating terrain in North America. This includes expert runs like the Big Couloir and Liberty Bowl.

For Scenic Rides:

• Spectacular Views: Even if you’re not skiing, the Lone Peak Tram offers a scenic ride that’s worth the trip. The tram ride itself provides stunning 360-degree views, including glimpses of three states (Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming) and two national parks (Yellowstone and Grand Teton).
